Welcome to the website of the the Multilingual Shakespeare project at the University of Fribourg. The project experiments with translation which reflects the multilingual Swiss environment to create productions of a ‘Swiss Shakespeare’. We presented at the Shakespeare400 Festival at King’s College, London in May 2016 and we will perform again at the Lausanne Shakespeare Festival in May this year. Our films of Merchant of Venice and Love’s Labour’s Lost will soon be available.
